Forget smashed avo’ on toast, Maryland has taken the millennials’ favourite food craze one step further with the launch of its brand-new Avocado Cookie.

Set to be the latest instagrammable snack, Maryland Avocado Cookies are packed with avocado chips and made using refined avocado powder to replace flour, a revolutionary super-food alternative to the much-loved original cookies.

Catriona Davis, Senior Brand Manager at Burton’s Biscuits said: “2019 is an exciting year for us at Maryland. We’ve spent a lot of time experimenting with different flavour combinations and analysing the latest food trends to create new flavours to meet popular demand.

We recently launched our new Sugar Free cookies and the feedback has been phenomenal. Avocados are an incredibly popular ingredient with so many health benefits, so we couldn’t wait to create this unique flavour, which we hope will go down just as well with consumers!”
